Have you down loaded anything that may have a Visual Basic Script file that runs with it?
There is a test file with script defender but it doesn't execute unless you click on it. You may or may not be safe! If you have a good Anti-virus program running and Definitions are up to date, I might consider opening it. There isn't a sure fire Safety though-Use your discretion and if you still question it. DON'T open it!

Hhhhmmm.... i think it has something to do with updating of my computer. I have a sony VAIO, and i looked in program files>blah blah>whatever that file was called> and there was a VAIO logo in it, i think it is safe. I just updated my virus software today. I also have The Cleaner running and Zone Alarm Pro. I am secure!

That is the only thing that I don't like about Script Defender. It just warns you that a script is trying to run. All of them, that I have encountered so far, have been safe. I know that may not last long anymore.
Just think of it as an attention getter! At least I'll say something to you before the mistake is made, and you can check on it like you did, to be sure that your safe.

rename the extention to like txt or something so it can't be exicuted and see if it is ever required for any reason. if it never called on then no worries if it is then u have it and its not deleted.

server.vbs???
I just downloaded AnalogXs Script Defender. After i rebooted, it poped up saying this:
"A request to execute a potentially dangerous script has been made:
SERVER.VBS
(programfiles\support.com\client\lserver)"
I don't even know what this is! It gives me the option to Execute the script or Abort. What should i do?
