I'm going to install WINXP SP2 2149 on a new computer (AMD64 ) this weekend. Just curious as to if the Cablenut settings I used previously are still needed, or does SP2 fix those things we've had to do ourselves in the past?

What sort of settings or changes are you reffering to? I have never used cablenut before so im not sure what you are reffering to. Ive used SP2 since the day they started beta testing so I could possibly help you with a lil more info.
Joe - I've received tweaking help from this forum and also used the Cablenut tweak tool at covad.net. CN has many settings that optimize things that WINXP does not, so I guess I'm just curious as to if MS decided to amend these settings in SP2. I could learn through trial and error, I guess, but I figured Speed Guide gurus would be all over this and there'd be some info already out there.

Thanks for the interest in helping me out.

I guess trial and error always helps... sit tight someone with more knowledge will reply sooner or later im sure.
I know I can download it but I'm not touching it until it's final and then most likely a few months after that. I have read too many conflicting opinions about SP2 and most were negative.
