Monty Python - Lumberjack Song Lyrics

I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK
I sleep all night and I work all day.

Chorus:
He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

I cut down trees, I eat my lunch
I go to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays I go shopping and have buttered scones for tea

Mounties:
He cut down trees, he eat his lunch
He go to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays he go shopping and has buttered scones for tea.

Chorus:
He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

I cut down trees, I skip and jump
I like to press wild flowers.
I put on women's clothing and hang around in bars.

Mounties:
He cuts down trees, he skips and jumps
He likes to press wild flowers.
He puts on women's clothing and hangs around in bars.

Chorus:
He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

I cut down trees, I wear high heels
Suspendies and a bra.
I wish I'd been a girlie, just like my dear pappa.

Mounties:
He cuts down trees, he wears high heels?
Suspendies...and a bra?

...He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

...He's/I'm a lumberjack and he's/I'm OK
He/I sleep all night and he/I work all day.

Cup O'Tea
:The Mad Caddies

you don't know where im going
you ask me where iv'e been
you wish you couldn't understand
im gonna fight this till the end
local girls and you wont see the problem fast its you and me
in the end i need em but you left and were not there
why do you put me down for who i am and what i do
i am just a person trying to live my life just like you
you got your fancy suit yeah you got your caviar
im just a young punk with a microphone and a guitar

reality
sobriety
anxiety
its not a cup of my tea

soberness
awareness
environmental madness
it should to be

baggy pants
stupid hats
talkin bout their loaded cats
they're wannabes

work all day sleep all night
they don't know what its like
they're yuppies

its not my cup of tea
so don't talk trash to me

how can you step up to me and tell me how to look
trying to tell me how to dress or even how to cook
who are you to judge what i do in my own home
who are you to say what i can and cannot grow
why do you control my life and my own property
everything i have and own cannot be taken easily
you always tell me what to do and what to say
now its time to stand up and do it my own way
[chorus]

When I first read your question first song i thought of was "The Cars " Shake it up,

uh well, dance all night play all day
don't let nothin' get in the way
dance all night keep the beat
don't you worry 'bout two left feet
shake it up
shake it up, oo yeah
shake it up
shake it up

well dance all night get real loose
you don't need no bad excuse
dance all night with anyone
don't let nobody pick your fun
shake it up, oo-oo
shake it up, yeah yeah
shake it up, oo-oo
shake it up

that's right I said dance all night (go go go)
and dance all night (get real low)
go all night (get real hot)
well, shake it up "now", all you've got, woo

dance
oo dance

uh well dance all night and whirl your hair
make the night cats stop and stare
dance all night go to work
do the move with quirky jerk
just shake it up, oo-oo
shake it up, oo yeah
shake it up, that's right
shake it up

uh well dance all night (go go go)
"get so light" (get real low)
dance all night (get real hot)
shake it up, all you've got, woo

shake it up, make a scene
"let them know" what you really mean
and dance all night keep the beat
don't ya worry 'bout two left feet
shake it up, oo-oo
(shake it up) oo yeah
shake it up, oo-oo
(shake it up) oh yeah
(shake it up)
shake it up
shake it up baby
(shake it up)
shake it up, oo-oo
(shake it up)
shake it up
shake it up baby
(shake it up)
shake it up, oo-oo
shake it up
hhhm
(shake it up)
yeah, yeah
shake it up, oo-oo
(shake it up)
shake it up
(shake it up)
shake it up
shake it baby
(shake it up)
shake it uh oo-oo
shake it up
(shake it up)

Surely it's not the Hall & Oates song "Some Men".

If it is, would you consider that classic rock?

Joe Walsh's old band James Gang did a song called Funk #49 that had similar lyrics..

Sleep all day, out all night
I know where you're goin'
I don't think that's actin' right
You don't think it's showin'
Jumpin' up, fallin' down
Don't misunderstand me
You don't think that I know your plan
What you try'n'-a hand me?
Out all night, sleep all day
I know what you're doin'
If you're gonna act that way
I think there's trouble brewin'
