Since Sonicwalls are getting kind of pricey and picky with their licensing, etc (see TWW's thread a few weeks ago)....I'm going to try the Cisco PIX 501 on a client this Friday, possibly get one for home too.
Anyone dabbled in these much?

i haven't played with the PIX yet, i have been playing with a few 2514's, 2610 and 1751 routers (along with several Cisco switches).
i need to look into them as well, need to see if their capabilities are greater than or less then the routers i have.
the hardest thing i have found is getting the relivant IOS images. again i don't know if you have to deal with that with the PIX.
have a read over at DSLR's Cisco forum. lots of good info.
look forward to your reports on how it goes.
