cant remove

i got this stupid isearch on my ie explore cant get it out tried removal software i tred cleaning the reg it keeps coming back and it locks me out from changing my homepage back to what it was.... help

Have you tried using Ad-aware or Spybot?

ok that worked isearch dont open to its homepage just one more problem under ie tools internet options to set the homepage its locking me out i cant click on the box to type in my home page?

Best guess is that is a registry security setting that got set to lock you out.

check your immunize settings in spybot. there is one that if checked won't allow you to change your home page.

that was the problem it was in spybot had to uncheck it was set to lock homepage thank u

You know, it's pretty bad when you have to check the checklists to make sure you haven't screwed yourself with all of these settings. I can't tell you how many times a host file, homepage lock, or some other setting has caused me to pull hair out. :irate:
