i dont really need any ram now but i will in the future....my question should i buy it now or will it end up stayin low for a while or even get lower?????
Man i dont know if it gonna go up or dowmn but i just bought 384MB of PC133 CL2 for 179.00 US. **** that would have cost me 450.00 not more than 6or 8 months ago. Theses are the salad days

I thought this was a good idea until I couldn't think of anything witty.
I have heard that ram is cheap cause the Xmas sales for PC's were dismal.

Expect it to go back up when stocks are used up. The prediction is March....
HUMMMM.......mad i paid 280$$$ for 256 megs of pc 133 GENERIC ass ram...now the same **** is like 60 buckz for the same generic crap.....man that makes me mad....o wel..o yea i paid for the ram this past september.
My suspicion is that one of the reasons ram is so cheap now is because its only a matter of months before SDRAM goes obsolete. But after DDR and/or RDRAM take over as the standard memory, its sure to rise in price as it becomes more scarce. Remember EDO? I'm sure it dropped in price too, when SD came out, but have you seen the prices now? it costs a fortune!
Whatever happens, i don't think it'll get much cheaper than the price brent found. SD has hit rock bottom.

You might as well buy as much as you can, at least you'll have plenty of RAM for building multiple computers and all that. I paid 129 for 256 of RAM, very happy.
Speaking Of EDO ram, I asked a local computer shop how much 32 would be, they wanted 99 bucks for 32meg of EDO! I thought it would be really cheap cuz it's old outdated RAM, guess I was wrong.

What kind of RAM did you gety and where did you buy it?
yeah but there is no reason to. just get micron pc100 or pc133 memory in the size you want. if your thinkin on going to a 266mhz fsb amd in the future tho, get the pc133, it'll be woth the extra 10$ now.
