Media Player backup

Anyone know where to find the media player 7 folder that contains the playlists?

I want to copy them to CD to back them up.

Using ME and W2K Pro.

the play list is like a shortcut to the location of the media files on the hard drive there is no folder called play list media files are *.mpg,*.mpeg,*.avi,*.saf,*.dvx,*.mpa,*.mpv,*.mov,*.asx if you do a find for those file types you will find your media to back up

OK. I thought maybe each playlist was separate, but I see what you are saying. The playlsts that I have created just point to the song that is stored elsewhere on the drive?

New to the media player and Napster thing here !
