Just Saw The Passion............

Post by Prey521 »

WOW, All I can say is WOW!!!!!

My dad is a minister and had a special viewing so he took a bunch of us to see it. The unbelievable reality and brutality that Jesus suffered, for me, brought to the big screen is something that mere words cannot explain. I believe that this movie will have a big impact on both believers and non-believers who watch this amazing movie. I'm gonna go watch it again this weekend with some other friends!

i'm going friday to see it.

funny thing, so far all the reviews from those that have seen it are nothing short of "rave"

but those that are "professional" reviewers give it "thumbs down"

hmmmm, me wonders why?

;)
Well ROTFL, Skip, it ain't gonna happen; you'd better get back to buying armor upgrades off eBay.

** Spoiler **

He dies in the end

On a different note, reviews seem to be quite good so far. Not quite rushing out to see it yet but that may change if good reviews continue to flow forth.

My mom and dad say it early, too. Sneak preview for the pastors/invitation only. My dad is a deacon at our church so they went. They were going to bring my 12 year old sister tonight, but now they are reconsidering...

I'm going to see it tonight at 9.

Hmmm, I dunno about a 12 year old watching this movie, I'm suprised that it wasn't rated NC-17! It's very VERY graphic!

In an interview I sat through in church, Gibson said that he wanted the graphic..uh, ness..to get to you. It's part of the point that you'd be shocked and appalled - yet he does his best to stay right on the truth. I'd not take my young sister to see it if I had one, but really, it's better than watching 70% of the garbage on network TV.

Tonight's already sold out, but I've got three tickets for Sunday at one.

I still don't understand all the controversy about this film.
