Call of duty problum with enter of IP

ok when I go to favs and enter the SG IP it only lets me enter 3 numbers then after that it only changes the previous numbers.

like 69.2 then i hit 4 it just changes to this 69.42

Don't use the NUMPAD. For some reason the console doesn't recognize all keys on the console as numbers. Use the regular number keys and you're set.
