LOTR: The Return of King

Post by Joint Chiefs of Staff »

I'll be headed out in a few hours with my good friend from England David to see the show.

We promised we'd see it together when I got back into town. Kind of a Thelma and Louise pack. :D

P.S. I'm smuggling in gummy bears lol

Just a word of warning...don't drink a lot before the movie if you don't want to miss any of the movie...it'll be close to four hours between potty breaks (including the trailers at the beginning)...

I wait till November for the Extended Editions to come out. Don't bother with the Regulars.

Thing is, is that the regular editions have been coming out in August for the last two...this one comes out in May...maybe that means the Extended edition will be out late August? (I hope)...

I have not read the novels however peeps that have told me that the sequence of events and how they occur vary from the bigscreen.

Well, you gotta figure that any translation from novel to screen is going to do that to the story...but they remained pretty faithful to the storyline in spite of that...

Plus, in the extended editions of the movies on dvd, you get a more rounded out telling of the story as well...makes for an even better experience
