TCPOptimizer ?

I INSTALLED AND RAN TCPOPTIMIZER ON MY COMPUTER TO HELP WITH LAG WHEN I PLAY XBOX ONLINE, AFTER INSTALLATION I COULD NOT HOST ANYMORE. WHEN THE GAME STARTS U CAN MOVE FOR A SECOND THEN THATS IT EVERYBODY IS FROZEN!
IVE TRYED TO GO BACK TO ORIGINAL SETTINGS & WINDOWS DEFAULT SETTINGS WITH NO LUCK. CAN ANYBODY TELL ME HOW TO GET MY COMPUTER, ROUTER BACK TO THE ORIGINAL SETTINGS SO I CAN HOST AGAIN?

It probably something you changed on the router sg optimizer will not cause that freeze up . What winodws version do you have??

You come here and your first post is to send someone to DSLR. They are a bunch of close minded morons that know very little about tweaking. This is Speedguide and we have our own tweaking app.

Of what morons who think that cablenut or the optimizer due damange to pcs when they have no prove to back it up. How dslers say cablenut has extra settings that will supposley corrupt your connection but yet there all part of the tcpip stack.

How they claim the drtcp is better of then the optimizer when both hit the same keys in the registry.

I love that fourm they can't back up what they claim not at all I love the fact that this one guy was getting 90 percent of his capps went there looking for a answer to get better speed. The guy at dsl said you are getting 90 percent of your capps. So if they think cablenut does damage how come they agree that he is getting 90 percent??

im clueless, i dont know what ur talking about seriously. i was only here to help people with their speed. If they feel that the way i tweaked it is easier for them, thats koo. but if they think the way you tweaked urs, thats ok for me too. what ever they choose its up to them. i guess some people (like me) find it easier to use, thats why they use drtcp. and others use tcp optimizer (that site has) think that its easier to use that too. what ever suits them

and i dont know what this talk about "go back to dsl," i don't own that site. im an amateur here, it's not like I sign a contract with you when i registered to this site.

Do you understand that the first thing you did was direct them away from Speedguide? What is the point of that? Do you understand that we have our own tweaking tools here? If so then why send them to use something else?

well sorry i insulted ur intellegent my intellectual one. hey which is better: DRTCP or ur way? my speed is 9414 download speed and 955 upload speed according to nyc.speakeasy.net, which is pretty accurate since i live in nyc area. I wanna bring up my download speed near 10,000 kbps (my ISP advertisment is 10,000/1,000). Plus its $50 a month

. So i was asking what i do first?

hightower, it's not TCP Optimizer causing your lag or hosting problems with your xbox/xbconnect. Lag is usually caused by your ISP, the Internet, servers, routers, backbone providers(which your ISP has a contract with), your wiring, if your router's firmware is upgraded. If not, sometime upgraded firmware for your router can fix lag problems with your Internet service. To do this, visit your router's manufacturer. If these things doesn't work, contact your ISP and complain, it could be that your ISP added too many people to their network and that's why you could be lagging. Other than that, TCP Optimizer isn't causing your lag problems.

I could give u the same vaulue in the optimizer or cablenut and still give you that resault what is ur point you can manually edit your registry use dr tcp or sgoptimizer it doesn't matter what program you use If i gave you the the same 64240 that u used in dr tcp and used the sg optimizer it will be the same speed why because it hits the same keys as the dr tcp no difference.

Here download the optimizer read what values are there almost identical to dr tcp so if the vaules are the same in both programs what does that tell u???
