yeah but i dont wanna have to d/c from xbox and back and forth.....and is ppoe

results are here

TCP options string = 0204059801010402
MTU = 1472
MTU is not fully optimized for broadband. Consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for better throughput.
MSS = 1432
MSS is not fully optimized for broadband (although it might work well for slower connections). Consider increasing your MTU value.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 17184
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 17184

RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
504064 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
252032 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
126016 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
63008 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product:

Your RcvWindow limits you to: 687.36 kbps (85.92 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 274.944 kbps (34.368 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
Consider increasing your RWIN value to optimize TCP/IP for broadband.
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = OFF
Time to live left = 110 hops

TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000

it should 1492 or 1480 if you are using winxp ppoe client software to cnnect to the net if you are this is the fix for xp http://www.carricksolutions.com/XP_MTU.reg

The fix is in that link.

Well i decided to change to ethernet connection

i tried the tcp optimizer but my mtu is the same:S

Later on when you got time keep working on that mtu that rasppoe software should work plus it's the best ppoe client there is. If that still doesn't work try going ur modems company home page and download firmware for the modem see if that works.

Try the following in cablenut DefaultReceiveWindow = 192000
DefaultSendWindow =32768
DisableAddressSharing = 1
InitialLargeBufferCount = 100
InitialMediumBufferCount = 240
InitialSmallBufferCount = 320
LargeBufferSize = 81920
MaxFastTransmit = 64000
MediumBufferSize = 15040

OK, i forgot to say, My isp was just enabled in my state and are in the Beta Testing period, but after this month its a all a go, doubt that matters but......ok changed it...thanks for your help by the way and heres results
