My Radio Station

I'm starting a radio station for my friends to listen to, and I have a question.

I have the Verizon Online 1500/128 package(Yeah, sucky upload).

So, on Shoutcast, on 32kbps I can have 4 people at one time, or I could lower it to 24 and have 6 people at one time.

Do you think the 8kbps difference makes that much of a difference?

Right now it's up with the 32kbps, so only 4 people at one time. I might keep it that way, don't have to many friends.

Anyways, I also want someone to tell me if it's working. Here is the .pls file for easy opening: Linkage.

Tell me about the 32 vs. 24 deal and tell me if my station is working.

I'm using the SHoutcast DSP addon for Winamp and also the server software, being my own server. I didn't feel like paying someone.

I wonder if Verizon Likes me diong this....

Yes, I'm playing whats on my HD.

I only have 128 upload and i'm doing 32k stream so only 4 people at a time.

If you goto Shoutcast.com and click the link for broadcasting, it'll tell you how. You're going to want to use both the DSP for Winamp and the Shoutcast server software.

I tryed many of times to host my radio on it never works so how did you do it?
