time warner sends out an alert on the tv

any idea whY?

it comes back but cable modem recycles?

happend twice so far over the weekend?

Call Time Warner and complain, they are both on the same cable but on different frequencies so they shouldn't effect one another.

also happen to friend of mine at same time when he got an lert but he on cablevision

we both live ins ame area

Well called up Time Warner

they said whenever they send out an Emergency Broadcast it resets the singla so maybe that why it happened


i told them it never happened before thye had no asnwer..lol


i dont mind it once a month it just happened twice this weekend with that alert so pisst me off oh well

Time Warner is uping there download speed to 3000 down . put up with it a few days and see what happen.You will lose service off and on for a day or two as this take place . You may need to reboot the modem to get service back .you may also need to reset up your router if they change your IP
