Ulead Video Studio advice

Post by brianosmi »

I have experience with video editing programs (Premiere, Serious Magic, Avid) but have recently started using Ulead Video Studio 6.

My question is this: How can I record video from an analog source in an .avi format that isn't extremely huge in file size?

I have tried several .avi formats, and for some reason with any of them the smallest file size I can get in an .avi format is about 1 gig per 1 minute of video. :( It doesn't seem to matter what codec I use, the result is the same. I don't know if it's something I'm messing up, a bug in Ulead, or what???

Any help would be much appreciated!
