What the hell is wrong with these parents?

Post by Tawcan »

Watched the news while I was eating tonight and saw this news:

http://www.canada.com/vancouver/story.a ... A465800C04
He accused kids at Rockridge Secondary School in West Vancouver of stealing $2,000 from his son, whom he gives $100 in allowance every week.
The TV news interviewed the boy's father...

The father said...
"The boy is given $100 in allowance every week because we don't have time to cook for him, and he also has a credit card with a credit limit of $5000."

Well no wonder the boy got bullied. For god's sake, pay a bit attention to your kid and don't hand him money like that... if he doesn't learn that every penny is hard earn money he'll spend money like crazy.

Good parenting isn't equal to giving money to your kids.... I sure learned that from my parents....

Sad story from both sides. :(

I do not feel sorry for that kid one bit. He slits another kids throat with either a paring knife, a folding pocket fishing knife, or a 9" blade. It really depends on which witness you ask ;) . Then the father has the gaul to say his son shouldn't be charged because it was a cultural misunderstanding...

Bull-freaking-Blah. If that is a cultural misunderstanding so was dropping the Bomb on Japan twice!.

Also that punk threaten to stab another kid for no reason.

He has problems and his parents are not helping.

I agree...but I really think the parents have to ask themselves if they have done good enough parenting on this kid....

The sad thing is that they probably think they have done a good job, by throwing all of that money towards him.

Oh well...

Well lets see.
The combatants were:
- a 16 year old and a slightly-built 13 year old. Yeah, that seems fair.
And those officials at Rockridge Secondary School, they are certainly tuned-in, aren't they.

Aren't all public school officials tuned in to reality ?

His parents are morons...

they can't do their damn job right.

His mom is going to try and send him back to China ( rhymes with Wussy)

I hate it when immigrants think they can cause crap and then run away back to their country.
