what to do with old stuff?

Post by maroon »

I got a couple of old P166 Compaq Presario(?) boxes from work. Is there anything I can do with these things? Should I part them out and try to sell them on Ebay or should I just throw them away?

I've been wanting to try my hand at Linux. Will it run on a setup like that?

Thanks for your help!

I've installed linux on a 486 50mhz. You could probably install it on a calculator :D

Tanks for the help, guys! Guess I'll keep one to fiddle around with Linux and give the other one to my church or a school.

I had a 166MHz from 95, back when MMX was the stuff. Linux works fine on it for me...I like linux, something new and fun to mess around with. :) I'd advise ya to give it a try.
