It seems unfortunate but war has become more inevitable due to years of conflicts and horrible relations. I for one think the utter ahnilation of mankind is a good thing. Here's to the next phase of evolution. May they not make the same mistakes we have.

Even mollusks?

Would it be salt water type vs fresh water? Pearl producing vs good tasting? (Is there such a thing?)

i really don't want to start a flame war here - i only want to ask a question ....

ok, is it just me, or does it seem like Israel is REALLY quick to pull the trigger ... this can't be good for the US and it's relationship w/ Israel - I mean, isn't our relationship w/ them one of the main reasons we are every terrorist's wet dream?

they bomb the bejeezus out of everything in site - we back 'em - we are also the bad guy (in the terrorist's view) - can't we like reign them in or something?

I would think US would have to back them...I mean they were taking out a terrorist training camp...

Israel's viewpoint I believe Jamie is that terrorists are sending in people to kill innocent civilians so Israel will retaliate harshly for those actions. Whether a person believes Israel is harsh or not is another matter. Some believe they arent and some believe they are.

There's a debate in the UN about it, Syria wants to pass a motion condeming Israel. Hmmm, is that a US veto I smell?

If you poked a caged tiger with a stick every day of it's life, would you reasonably expect the tiger to bite someone if it had the chance?

Israel is jumpy, always has been, and for good reason, IMO.

Whether they're justified in this action I do not know, nor will I comment.

No, we can't do anything to stop Israel because most of our politicians are Jewish or are in the back pockets of the Jews. Jews run this country...

If what you say is true, then we allowed it to happen.

I think you might want to look deep within yourself regarding this post kmax.

lol Mehmet, In case you didn't know man and based on your little shot at the current Prez, Im wondering if you did, but our relationship with Israel has spanned back much further then this current President.

Have you read the news man? If a group claims responsibility for it, how exactly is it alleged?

Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing Saturday at a popular restaurant owned by Jews and Arabs in Haifa that also wounded more than 50 people.

UOD, do some research on the AIPAC (American Israeli Political Action Committee) before you judge KMAX's opinion. I am no Conspiracy Theorist but this organization scares the hell out of alot of Politicians trying to get re-elected, and they have ended the careers of quite a few people that dared say or do anything against Israel or Jews.

Also , consider what Jews have done to the innocent Palestinians, basically bull-dozing their homes to make room for more Jewish settlements. And where do they get the money to afford this and fund the elite army that they have, which some experts believe has surpassed our own Army's technology? It all comes from us. There is a reason why Israel is the most hated nation in the world, and why we were the only nation to stand up for Israel at the recent UN resolution vote to eliminate Arafat.

Just to make things clear, I do not condone terrorism or believe in their end goal. A nation has a right to defend itself against enemies, foreign and domestic, but Israel's sword is too broad and something should be done to end their tyranny.

These terrorists go into purposely kill as many innocent people including women/children/babies, I have no sympathy for them at all. They can all rot in hell

chilt,

No judgement was made. Let me say it again, if kmax is correct, then it is because we, the fat, lazy, APATHETIC Americans let it happen. Apathy rules this country, not one group of people.

When less than half of America goes to the polls...who is really to blame?

UOD - Thank you for clarifying and yes you are absolutely correct. More people should be concerned with who leads this country and do something about it.

Also, there are aolt of misguided individuals who believe Brokaw, Jennings and Rather actualy report UNBIASED news and follow the media's word instead of forming their own opinion.

If people dedicated 1% out of the total time they spend bitching and moaning and complaining towards voting, they could probably have enough time to vote in every election for the next 20 years.

Nothing worse IMO then people whining about a country then not taking the necessary steps to do something about it. If you dont like the guy in office go to the polls and vote his butt out.

Why should we be concerned?

Maybe most people think Bush is doing a superb job under the circumstances.
