Any deals out atm for a 4x dvd-burner that is a good drive?

I dont know what drives are good and which are bad but Ive come across a few deals for a 4x dvd-burner for like $130

cant comment on the store, but I have the nec1300a and I'm very happy with it.

The ND1300-A can be purchased for about $130 or so these days. Gonna pick one up next week based on your recommendation Z. Thanks again for answering all my dopey video n00b questions. :)

The NEC is the best bang for the buck at this time. Plextor will have its 8X out very soon, to be followed by Pioneer and Sony.

Looks pretty good..only thing I see is that it's OEM and getting support won't happen and getting ROM updates are just as likely....I've been there with OEM drives.
