Ok, i need the values for a friend, here is his info: XP, DSL, Router, Bellsouth as ISP.
Yea, i know what your gona say, change the MTU to 1500/1492 [im not sure if its ppoe or not], well it is changed. But the router limits it, any way to change the setting in the router too?
TCP options string = 020405a401010402
MTU = 1484
Unrecognized MTU, or MTU = 0.
MSS = 1444
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1444, which equals MSS.
Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 65340
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 65340
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
508288 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
254144 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
127072 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
63536 (MSS x 44)
bandwith delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 2611.2 kbps (326.4 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1044.48 kbps (130.56 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 112 hops
bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 2613.6 kbps (326.7 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1045.44 kbps (130.68 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 112 hops
TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000
Tweak This.

Make sure the router has the latest firmware and set it's MTU to 1492. Also did you do the fix here?
