Yeah, I'm a little leery of tunnels, I guess you could say I'm afraid of being trapped in a tunnel underwater or in a mountain with no escape. Not really closterphobic though, small spaces don't bother me. Just the idea of tons and tons of rock or water keeping me from getting out makes me shiver.
Also I could never be one of those deep sea divers who ride in the little mini subs down to like a mile below the surface. I couldn't handle that. Or a submarine man, no way, no how. I have to have sunlight. I'm an outside kinda guy.

Contrary to my previous post...IE: Router
The only real phobia that I have is Terrazzo stairs and my fear of slipping when I am walking up them and knocking all my teeth out on the edge of an upper step.
If you don't know what Terrazzo is
you can look here and if your too lazy to look its that hard surface floor you see in lobbys and stairwells, the hard shiney colored little stones ground to a mirror finish.
Every time I have to climb a set of them stairs thats all i can think of....Uhhg

They have a name for that on the Phobia List, i remember seeing it a long time ago. Very strange, too.
Levophobia - left phobia: a persistent, abnormal, and irrational fear of things to the left side of the body that compels avoidance, despite the understanding by the phobic individual and reassurance by others that there is no danger. 2: left phobia: a strong fear of, dislike of, or aversion to things to the left side of the body.

OK, here is one of my little random phobias. When you cross the street and there are cars going by you go fairly close to the car that just went by so that you won't slow up the person behind them. I get a little tinge of "What if I cut it to close and their bumper takes off my knee-cap". You know that little section that wraps around the corner of the car, particularly older cars with the metal bumpers.
I think part of it having to explain to people afterwards how you permantely crippled yourself by doing something so stupid.

I have a fear of stupid people... I mean it.. I talk all day on the phone.. and my biggest fear is getting someone on the phone with the IQ of a bag of rocks.
