XP shutdown

Post by VIKTOR2020 »

My notebook running XP Home has learned a new trick. When I shut it down it removes the cursor but keeps t he rest of t he screen t he same and goes into a trance. It never shuts down. The only way to stop it is to softboot.
Any ideas what I can do?
Thanks

Have you put service pack 1 in yet? That is one of the issues that it addresses.
