Mushrooms
Mushrooms
I was curious if anyone new how to get rid of mushrooms. I had a few popup in my yard the other day and I kicked them up and now I have 5 times as many in the same area.

HEY!
What did I ever do to deserve this?
I assume it's moisture making them pop up...do you have pets in the area that might eat them? Otherwise I'd just step on them (which might just spread their spores) or let them die away.
There are products you can purchase, basically poisons, that are going to be worse then the mushroms.

Diffrent kind im sure
I Refuse To Walk ALone.
If they are in fact 'shrooms' = tasty!!!
Prolly 'toadstools' = poison!!!
Tea.... I have them all over my yard. Gardner says its a sign of very fertile soil. Anything strong enough to kill them will also kill the surrounding grass. Animals are smart enough to not eat them (they sense the poison). Just kick them out of grass or just let them go and let the mower chop them up.

Maybe most but not all by any means.
Maybe dogs are dumber then most...I've known several dogs that have been hospitalized and had near-death experiences from eating mushrooms.
My parents almost lost one of theirs a few years ago after that happened actually.
