Hi all
Hi all
Just thought I would drop in and take a look around. For all those that have made milestones, congrats. I still plan on firing up the farm again when the weather cools but it looks like I will be well out of the top 10 by then
. We had a major thunderstorm here in Sacramento last night; the thunder almost knocked me out of bed a few times and drove my animals nuts. I'll try to check in more often and glad to see all the new members.

I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.

Wasnt that something? We got a lot of action here in stockton, but you guys got the most of it... Hope you get your farm back up and running soon
Know what you mean by driving your animals nuts.
We moved to Wichita Falls, Texas a month after the big tornado in 1979. We picked up 3 dogs and a cat that were orphaned. One dog liked to run off whenever she got a chance and we'd have to chase her down. Well one day we were standing in the front door while a thunderstorm was going on, raining hard. I could tell she was assessing her chance of not getting too wet if she ran out the door when a big boom of thunder happened. I felt a little breeze along my leg so I looked down, she was gone back into the house and all that was left was a puddle of yellow liquid.
And fireworks caused all three dogs to jump on top of my wife while she was in a lounge chair watching our kids lite some off. First pop and whoom right on top of her.

Thanks for the kind words. Hey Tawcan you folding for Speedguide now, and how's the beaver doin'? NexariaN it looks like y'all got hit pretty good today in Stockton. When I fire my farm back up I hope to have a new machine also. I'm thinking about a Barton core AMD on one of the nforce mb's but I'm waiting for the price to drop some more.

Cool, hope the weather gets cooler earlier this year. How ya been doin'? I think it is great that our friendly competition in G@H allowed us to get to know each other and get us folding on the same team although I sometimes miss G@H.

I'm doing fine and looking forward to a move to slightly cooler climes. I move back to NC in mid-Oct. Hopefully this'll be last major move until I retire in '08.
I miss the old G@H days as well. It was nice being able to leave it running for 6 weeks straight with no connection and then uploading all at once.
It was also a heckuva lot stabiler.
Oh well, we do what they need us to do to get the research done.
Keep cool.:2cool:
