does anyone know the default values for:
NegativeCacheTime
NetFailureCacheTime
NegativeSOACacheTime
winxp sp1
i did backup my registry but then i back it up again after i change the values to 0
dnscache
you can copy that into notepad and save as DNS.reg then merge it, or you can use the UNDO patch from my website
If you want to manually enter the values, they are in hexadecimal, not decimal.

I wanted to change my values on this registry as well, but when I got to the folder and opened it, none of those items mentioned above and on mnosteele's tweak tips page were there. All have are 2 items in that folder labeled:
(default) REG_SZ (value not set)
ServiceDll REG_EXPAND_SZ %rootsystem%\System32
\dnsrslvr.dll
Is this wrong? Should I have those other values in there? If I do or if I don't, what difference will it make?
I will appreciate any suggestions.
Thank-you!:2cool:
