Just goes to show that something is wrong... when you have a few states having trouble getting gas, some are way too high and the rest are way below the national average..something is clearly wrong.

That's just because some places use more/less, you know, the supply/demand rules, nothing wrong ...

Well, as I use both Linux and Windows with the same problems, we know its not software and like I said it works smoothly without router.

The router MTU is default at 1500.

Forums???

Feedback: this site is great.

Suggestion: the forums are all mixed up. Clarity is needed, for example the wireless networking should be a sub-forum of networking. It would be great if the forums really got a revamp. I'm sure lots of people post in wrong areas because it's not very clear ...

I"m still waiting to see $1.75 a gallon again. Until then it's still way too high.

AGREED!!! Its ridiculous that gas prices more than DOUBLED within a 5 year period. It has taken roughly around 25 years for that to happen. :wth: :irate:

Sadly, we will never see fuel in the U.S. below $2.00 again ...

No new firmware available :(

It's directly connected to my motorola SB5120 modem.

Wireless is enabled with no security, but the closet house is about a mile away, so I doubt leechers and I monitor that anyway.

Router freezes/chokes/locks up during fast downloading

I've used so many routers and none have ever been able to hold up under fast downloads. I started downloading a linux distro which was giving me about 2.5MB/s down and after a couple of minutes my router chocks and I have to reset it. This has happened with every router I have ever owned.

I ...

I forgot to update this post when I figured out the problem. I always use the optimal settings on tcp optimizer. Well, I actually found out that the problem for my connection going down was on the programs that I was using, I had to many open ports. I had to set them to a lower number and it solved ...

So I tried the connection without my router and what ya know, my downloads were like around 100-300KB a sec. Only thing is that now I'm open to damn near any kind of ...
