I'm at 2.2GHz on a7n8x-dx, had it up to 210 FSB but it wasn't stable, didn't mess with the timings enough, gonna try 2447 and see what happens, I had bumped vcore and the ddr votage already.

I say screw the new heatsink and get some nice 3200 Corsair LL Ram. You can then overclock the cpu to 3200+ 2.2GHz 400FSB and maintain it with no heat issues. None here anyways, mind you I'm on an asus a7n8x-dx

Hmm, out of the 5 new WD drives I have, none require two jumpers, it's on one set of jumpers for CS, one if you want Master WITH a slave and no jumpers to enable single master.. That's the normal way I am used to with their drives, thing is, two or three of the drives have different jumper settings ...

I saw this posted in another thread as well..the mobos for p4s also cost more. Other than the price of AMD's, I like the performance for that price. Other than that, I couldn't care less, If p4s came down to compete with AMD I'd use both.

Hi all, question from the forum newb.

How's everyone today? I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the ATHLON XP 2500+ 333FSB overclockability with standard factory cooling. I have that processor and the corsair 512 twinx extreme low latency pc3200 running on a7n8x-deluxe. What fun can I have lol?

TIA for the tips!
