My System Restore isn't working either. Before your thread, I had tried that several times, but only back a day or two. I've now tried going back a week, per your suggestion, and I was told my system couldn't be restored to that date.

Thanks for your quick reply. I downloaded ccleaner.com. The browser they clean is Internet Explorer. I now use Mozilla Firefox. Do I need to adjust anything with ccleaner.com, or will they automatically remove cookies, history, etc. from Firefox?

I don't know how to log in as Administrator. I used CTRL-ALT-DEL, and got to a Windows Task Manager. The only tab which seems appropriate is "User." I tried to delete my name (it's my personal computer), to type in Administrator in its place, but couldn't do it.

I'm new to SBC Yahoo/DSL. Every time I boot up my computer, the Connection Manager re-installs my PPPoE connection, which takes several minutes each time. SBC support says this is normal. Is it?
