yes with a 1500 line you should be able to get 1250-1350 out of it wait for lobo/mnosteele or someone to read this they will hook you up with some good settings

if you have TCPOptimizer i would try the folowing RWIN'S

those are a couple that seem to work pretty ...

I put in settings on cablenut as if i had a 3500 dl line but i really only have a 1500 and i got this speed

i have 256MB memory what should my min and max virtual memory be at?

i have it at 381 min and 381 max but i got a pop up saying my virtual memory was to small

340x8=2720 wich isnt even close to 90% of his cap

3150 is 90% of his cap

2720 and 3150 is alot of differance my friend 430 differance

he is at 78% of his caps

i just ran a online speed test with that 186880 and got this

yet 10 minutes ago when i did the test with that # on a fast ftp server i only got 115 KB/Sec

so maybe ...

i tried those

192729 = 145 KB/Sec
198560 = 130 KB/Sec

but the funny thing is i went back to the 186880 that i got 172 KB/Sec last night and this morning i only got 115 KB/Sec

so you think last night i just got lucky with that RWIN?

Here are my results from the RWINS you gave me

87760 = 161 KB/Sec
128480 = 167 KB/Sec
175200 = 169 KB/Sec
186880 = 172 KB/Sec picture below

so as the RWIN got bigger so did my speed

maybe you have a couple higher ones that might raise it ...

I did a ping test on TCPOptimizer and it said my average was

98ms wich i was told under 100 was GREAT :-)

and no i havent tried a lower RWIN

what rwins would you suggest?

i was using cablenut and was getting about 163KB/Sec =1304 i deleted cablenut and im just using TCPOptimizer with a RWIN of 27740 and i got this speed tonight
