XP Sp1 Beta Build 1089 Tweakin'

I installed the XP Service Pack Build 1089 on XP Pro yesterday, and have a few tweakin questions.

First, before I had done a little bit of tweaking my start button; changing the test to say "What!" without the quotes, and making the color a nice light blue.

Naturally, the Service Pack re-wrote ...

The only reasons macs are still used in graphics design is because photoshop and other progs are specifically designed to run better on macs - just like some pc progs are "optimized for direct 3d" or something like that. BUT - most high end animation and stuff don't use macs, they use pc's running ...

Plus didn't bush just initiaite a Global Missal defence system? Theyd blow em outta the sky over the ocean.

Umm, he is trying, but it has so far utterly failed. So far the tests off of California have all missed the test missiles fired - basically lots of money for a false sense of ...

Try the Standard 56000 drivers, also check the modem site for any updates. XP might have come with drivers, but it doesn't mean that they are the best.

Can the router allocate bandwidth for diff ips? If not, I would suggest a linux box after the router that can, so you can give your server/gaming machine more bandwidth and priority on the internet.

I am using NAV 2002. The thing I like about it is that it updates every day (so many new viruses) so I feel safe from just about anything.

If not, I keep everything back up on cd, and I just reinstall.

From what I have read, and this works for me, that the current Zone Alarm is fine in XP as long as M$ built in firewall is disabled. Then no prob for Zone Alarm.
