Static IP VPN

Quick fire question, can you get a static IP VPN service? I tried a few searches on google but didn't really see much in concrete answers one way or the other?

just an update

Some that know who I am already this won't be much of a change, just an update. As uverseusers.com went offline the QR code became no longer functional. As of this post I created a new one with updated links to my contact pages and such.

Anyway hope to look forward to talking in the future and ...

What those units might be based on description is called "maintenance Testing units" or MTU for short. They were designed for plain voice circuits only. Typically for DSL they can interrupt the DSL signaling as the signals being sent by a modem would be in range of them. About well above 90% have ...

I am still here but I won't sell you anything, and I don't have access to sales pricing. I can put in F cases as well, and work on trouble reports for Uverse and ADSL. I can however, give the issue to a sales person for an order if need be, or even a billing person.

interleaving (I am assuming this is DSL or some flavor there of, as I cant say I have heard it on fiber or cable lines) was designed about like VPN does. It gives a stable connection at cost of speed and ping. Now for Uverse if you have the TV service, there is a 8-10ms delay (interleaved on VDSL by ...

How far are you now currently? have they told you that? I can check into the specifics and such but you would have to send me the account info though. The code box to the left has my contact info page.

I would think for just sheer management and sanity purposes I would put 12 routers on 12 floors. That would also segment the traffic and keep network collisions and broadcast storms to a minimum. Essentially you would segment your network, which is a good thing. Again just my take on it.

The actiontech should work. For settings I would copy what the 2wire has and go that way. YOu will need say vp:0/vc:35, and such settings. I believe the 2wire should have a connection settings page that shows you what it's using to connect. Just mimic or set those exact settings in the actiontec and ...
