High looks the same on every computer.. it will just feel different while in game depending on the hardware you're running..

Everything on high will look EXACTLY the same as everything on high on 2 computers, 10 ...

Ok, so my LCD native resolution is 16:10 @ 1680x1050

When I play in-game, the res is that big too @ 16:10

The only way I can use smaller resolutions is by using the 4:3 aspect ratio. But this takes away peripheral view from me and it is very important in gaming.
