Not sure what you mean here Jim.

CD scratch remover is a paste that you wipe on the CD and polish it.
Do the entire CD, because there's no way to tell where the directories are.

Burke, Thanks for your prompt response. I'm going to ask you however, if a "cd cleaner" would be able to fix this? Because I can get a cd cleaner from someone. Also I am pretty sure the actual cd-rom drive is clean.

First thing I would suggest Jim is to download a free software firewall like Zone Alarm. It will allow you to use AIM and Bit Torrent no problem. I'm pretty sure I'm burning the CD properly because it takes around 4-5 minutes or so to burn it (I guess this is a realistic time). Then when I look at the file sizes they're all 44 bytes, argggg. Nero, it seems to burn fine, but then I tried to use it in a portable CD player for a test but it didn't work, so I look at the properties of the files and each file was 44 bytes.
