I installed Mandrake linux 7.2 in my DOS partition on the C drive using the LNX4WIN option, it installed fine and when I rebooted several times it always gave me an option to boot either Linux or Win98. Cable modem seems faster on Linux
I just installed Mandrake 7.2 which allows duel boot Win98, I noticed however my bandwidth using Linux seems much faster with my cable modem then Windows, does anyone else agree or have a explanation why it does?

I have a 30 gig HDD, 27 gig of it is Win98, the rest I left open for creating partitions for Linux Redhat 7.
