Been an LRB fan as long as I can remember. I believe they hail from Australia. I saw them for the first time last year at the local county fair. Not a single member remained from the Reminiscing days, but they still put on a good show.

I hit a deer (now I need some help)
Driving up Highway 61 (the same one that Dylan revisited) last Monday evening, I had the audacity to try and share the road with a 200+ lb 8 point buck. This is the result:

If you plan on actually putting any kind of weight on it (car) then I suggest renting a tamper & packing down that dirt real good prior to laying gravel, else the level will recede fairly quickly. In 6 months you'll have to put on more gravel, and repeat every so often. One or two good rains is all ...

Kip - Can you expound on your post about liability? I don't see why it would be a problem if well built.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a few questions to ask based on that, but I figured I should provide a little bit of an overview of what I am doing via pictures. You can see that I have laid out the general shape of the wall and measured it out. I spent some time today looking to acquire some ties ...

Retaining Wall
I am going to be building a railroad tie retaining wall in my backyard to extend my usable parking space by my garage. It will be a relatively large project: The wall will be around 4' tall and around 40' long with a few jigs and jags in the design. I, of course, do not really know what I am doing ...

I am not sure if this should go in Marketplace or here, but I am putting it here.
I recently purchased a used Gateway 510X PC. It has a valid XP Home Oem license, but it did not come with the software (nor was there a hard drive included). I want to be legit with this PC, so the question I would ...

FS: Intel Core Duo T2300
Brand new, in unopened box. This is the dual core 1.66 Ghz processor, 2 MB L2 cache. It's sort of a big deal, I guess.
I see it listed online for between $240 to $290. I figure I am happy if I can get $215 out of it. Post a reply or send me a PM if interested or have questions.
