Wanted: Remote for old Gateway Destination SYstem

This is probably a long shot, but it's worth a try. :)

I am looking for a remote for an old Gateway Destination system.

The mouse ball is missing from mine and the buttons are beginning to stick.

On the back label: gateway field mouse 7001241

Someone had one on ebay a couple weeks ago. I ...

Just a note from a lurker with GSDs.

I live in an older house with old windows. They can crack and break very easily. My kitchen windows are low and the dogs love to hang out in there and bark when someone pulls up.

I put up those screen guards they make for storm doors. They're about $20 at Home ...

I bought a new laptop with XP Pro last year. After 2 days I was ready to return it. I was so disappointed. It ran sooooooo slow. Then I did some research on XP, as I'd never used if before. I found the Black Viper page, shut off many of the suggested services and it ran beautifully and oh so much ...

full install of games?

My niece and nephew (6 and 3) have several games they like to play on their computer. All these games need the cd to play.
I babysit the kids frequently and would like to have a couple of their games on my computer. It would be much easier to not need the cd to run them here. My cd drive is ...

I've been a lurker here for years. I read the forums almost every day.

My own personal reason for not posting is that I'd feel I was intruding. Don't get me wrong, no one has ever made me feel unwelcome. You all just seem very close with a lot of history between you.

AVG tells me I have a Virus identified Worm/Spybot. It says it's found in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winsock2.exe

It says to remove the virus run AVG. I do that, it finds it, then says it can't move or heal the file.

I just put two Game Cubes on layaway at Wal-Mart for Christmas. They rang up $99 each. No games, one controller and it suggested that a memory card be purchased.
There was another package next to them for $150. It came with more stuff, but I didn't read the package to see exactly what.

Actually, after the one year, unless prices go up, I'm still about $5 cheaper than RR on the Basic Service.

I never retained the K and k difference.
SBC's Basic service is download up to 384Kbps.
The Standard Plus is 384Kbps-1.5Mbps

RoadRunner offers up to 3,000kbps

The Basic is comparable?
