Etching on Lexan
Etching on Lexan
Always liked this image (since I was a kid) See av. - so i took a piece of Lexan that was left over from window mod, taped a blow up pic to front side and traced it with small grinder bit in my dremmel. What do you think? Make a good window etch or no? Is it to busy and needs to be simpler? Will it show up okay when backlighted in the case? Never done this before so just asking?

After I copied the pic, sized it, taped it to sheet,etc.etc. the actual etching part only about 20 min. That was also with my old dremel that runs full rpm (no speed settings). Since this was a trial run, I roughed it out pretty quick. Got new variable speed Dremel for Xmas (w00t) and will be a little more exact on real case window.
