I am trying to set up my Broadband router, and need to know the MTU size. My ISP at Cox won't give the info out. Is there any other way to find out? Thanks :( :(

1500 is the normal size that you would set it to, but if you had a PPPoE connection than you would need to set it to 1492.

edit: I missed the part where you said you had cox. In that case, as was already said, set it to 1500

Yes for Cox set it to 1500, also Cox's caps are 3000/256. Once you set it read the Help & Tips link in my signature and we can help you get things optimized. :) ;)
