I'm kind of interested heading out west to check out the Reno Air Races this year. I know its a 3-day event.
What lodging is available in the area, do they offer tickets? Are there any close by(hotels/motels)? I plan on doing research for this on the web, but I would value anyone's opnion that is in the area, or has been to this event.
And what do they have in the area for recreation, besides the Casino's?

I've never been, however my daughter lived in Stead where the races actually are. About 2 blocks from the airport actually, even worked the show one year I think.
