Is there any way to tweak your UL speed?

After tweaking my dl speed to a whopping 3000kb/s (thx lobo :)

I still notice my upload is pretty slow compared to my brother's computer.

I'm reaching an average of 200kb/s for my upload.

Any suggestions?

TCP options string = 020405b401010402

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 64240
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 64240
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 2569.6 kbps (321.2 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1027.84 kbps (128.48 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 53 hops
TTL value is ok.

with the upload

you could only tweak the down
With the upload there's nothing u really do.
Most isp caps are at 128 wich is like 15kbs a second sorry it's just part of the game

Cox's CAP's I believe are 3000 down/300 up, call ISP, ask them, tell them you have lot of pron to upload to someone high up at COX, lol, No, thats up to ISP and if their having any problems with any of their routers, but as fast as you can down those , er, movies, I would be happy :) :) :D

OK,

247.8 megabits per second
How communication devices are rated. Kilo means 1,000 and mega means 1,000,000. Examples include 56k modem and 10Mbit Ethernet
Storage

29.5 megabytes per second
The way data is measured on your hard drive and how FTP programs measure transfer speeds. Kilo is 1,024 and mega is 1,048,576.
1MB file download

seconds
The time it would take you to download a 1 megabyte file at this speed.

Cox is capped at 3000 kbits down, 256 kbits up.

You're not doing badly.

Guys, (as Lobo knows) I'm here in CT and I called Cox the other day. I was told that the caps are 3000/300. Then yesterday I was in Dunkin Donuts, (shouldn't have, I don't need it) and who was standing next to me?? But 3 Cox cable techs. I didn't tell them what the CSR at Cox told me, but I asked them what the caps are. They said the same thing, 3000/300. I offered them $100 each if they stopped by in 10 minutes and raised me into to outter space. One guy said they couldn't do that in the field even if they wanted to. He said it has to be done at the Cox facility. I said, ok, let's go. Really, I'm hitting my caps and happy.
