I got a Virus Thread Is Giving Me The Virus!

is infected with the VBS.LoveLetter.Var virus.
Unable to repair this file.

The file was quarantined.

Great test file if your into that sort of thing.

false alarm.
Norton detects the code, after all it is virus-like code!

rename that .htm to ,exe and you will have a real virus!

Network Associates Netshield also picked it up. Oh, goodie...now I might get a call from one of my corporate netcops. :rolleyes:

I doubt it. When it popped up as infected and quarantined it with the HTML extension, all I could do was shake my head and wonder. Well, at least my virus protection is protecting, even if it is falsely. :)

Hey, I don't believe that you will get a call. If you do, just tell them that it was a test code and impossible to execute...
Let us know if they do say something, but I doubt it...

Yeah, I doubt it, too. The only thing that might raise some eyebrows is that I'm using Windows on a common (remote) NT box, and displaying on my SPARC via the Citrix ICA client. So maybe the admin of the NT box might see a log file entry or something. And I have to think they have more to do than hassle paranoid little ol' me.
