They are over priced, at least their T1/3 services are. :)

i don't think they offer those other services, just a comparison to their 100Mbps for $1000

I see, marketing. :) That explains why the T1 is overpriced by about 800-1300.

Now I just need 9 other neighbors to split it with.
10mb/sec for a hundred bucks is good.

Cogentco is only available in multi-tenant office buildings, and at the present time, only in those already wired.

$75 for a fractional T1? I doubt it. Fractional T1s, depending on the speed and type, are still a couple/few hundred dollars.

I have heard that Philadelphia can get that at about the same price. I believe through Verizon.... odd that.

That price probably only includes the ISP monthly fee.

What you have to remember with a T1 is that you aren't just paying for speed (there's plenty of residential services or business DSL/cable services that are much faster). You are paying for higher QoS.

ROFL.

That's not sustainable.

It would actually be cheaper for me to buy 100Mbps of internet bandwidth from them, and haull it back here on my own network, instead of buying it here to begin with!

I wonder how long until they become a dot.gone. (Let me know, I'd like to attend their liquidation auctions)

:D
