Don't know, I keep it in the closet with the door shut so it's like it's in another room. I went to the home depot and bought one of those "desktop" grommets that you see to guide computer cables and drilled a hole in my wall and run the cables through it. One wall of the closet faces the outside of the house so even with the door closed it stays really cool in there

Mine's pretty quiet. The HDD is a Maxtor with liquid bearings so I don't have to hear that chugging noise that most HDDs make when accessing data.
The case is nice and sound tight so the four 80mm fans inside only make a very low, calm hum.
The loudest thing though is this damn keyboard. If you were sleeping in my computer room the keyboard would wake your arse up if I were on speedguide at the time.

I have a Lian-Li PC-12 case with four PC Power & Cooling Silencer fans at 21 dBA and one of their Silencer PSUs with dual fans and the stock P4 cooler and it sounds just a bit over a low hum. It's great!

LOUD, and I don't know exactly how loud.
I have a small 3-fan bay cooler (fairly quiet) as well as an old slot cooler under my vid card (also fairly quiet) that are dwarfed by my 5 92mm fans and my cpu's Delta fan.

All I hear is the PS fan on the 1.3 T-bird.
The PII-350 is almost dead silent.
