Michigan Speedguider Meeting Change

There has been a change in the date of the Michigan SG Meeting. Reality set in for a second and it was found out the the 30th was Easter weekend. SO...
We will be getting together on Saturday April 6th. Same place, same time, hopefully with more people. Otherwise BMED and myslef will need to find a designated driver. Lets please try to avoid that and get a bunch of people to show up.
Canadians, remember this is right across the river from Windsor.

Don't forget that after the meeting, you can go blow your hard earn cash at one of three Casinos....four counting Windsor!
Check out some sweet "Belly Dancing" in Greek Town.
or
Book a show at the Fox Theatre, "The Lord of the Dance"
or
Trek through the Detroit Institute of Arts and much more!

well you gave me the names of some hotel/motels in your area...
my only concern is getting around (crappy Det. puplic trans. you mentioned before)
If I get that taken care off...
to and from Detroit Metro Airport as well it wont be a prob...
If I recal from last time we went to Detroit (NAIAS) it was a fairly big airplane from STL to DWI..
so that shouldn't be a prob either..

Don't worry about transportation, I (we) Michiganders have multiple vehicles......MotorCity!
Let me know what your flight plan is, I'll make sure you get back and forth to airport and meeting. If your serious about making the trek, don't worry about a ride...I'll personally make sure that you have transportation.

Thanks for thinking of it Christine. Problem is it's too early and the thread will actually get noticed more if a couple of us bump it up every couple of days.

Bump. so far the people coming include myself, andrea, BMED, drdoug, Macho-Module, and Mikemean and bala possbibly. COME ON! where are the rest of ya at? Ace? AAF Striker? HL? Wee? dang, there so many of us here from the metro area. Banshee your too close not to come. And where are the canadians that are close? Indy? Were not too far from you either ya know.
We will be raffling off drdougs SG shirt! who wouldn't want that?
Okay, maybe not. But we will have something to raffle off. Don't ya want something for free? thought so.

I would come, but as I explained in the thread in the teams/meeting forum that I don't have my license. And my mom isn't letting me take my road test until I get a job. And I don't think I will get a job and get my road test in before the meeting. However I should be able to attend the next meeting

I haven't talked to my wife, but it shouldn't be a problem.
Just kidding guys, I really would like to come and meet some of the geniuses of SGnet. I think that it would probably work out since we'll have a good weekend of skydiving the weekend before, and then the next weekend would be some good time fun at the Hockey Town.
Maybe I'll wear my Avalanche uniform!!
Just kidding. I lost it.
Either way, I sure hope to see you all there. I'll let you know for sure later.
