Odd happenings in W2K

Post by brembo »

I have a laptop computer and for some odd reason, will not allow me access to some programs UNLESS I'm hooked up to our little network at work. Error message pops up saying, "This program has generated errors, program will now...blah bla blah" Any ideas on what has happened here? As soon as I hook it up to the network, all is good. Word, some surveying proggies do this. And its not runnin the programs over the network either, they are stored on the lappys HDD. Appreciate any help.
