Online Virus Scanner?

Post by EvilAjax »

Any links to any? I think I have some sort of a virus. I'm usually not home anymore, I leave my computer on like always... but for the past two days, when I came back it was shut down with a black screen "It is now safe to turn off your computer". What's going on? Why is my computer shutting down? When I reboot it, desktop icons are all placed in order (I keep my Recycle Bin icon on the right hand corner at all times, when I reboot after it shuts down by itself, the icon is under the My Network Places icon). What could this be? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the links! The online virus scanner said I have no viruses. Hmm--that's odd. Wonder why my machine is just shutting down like that... Oh well. Thanks again. :)

Anybody at the house that has access to your computer? If so, maybe they're shutting it down...
