Marlboros are $3.25 here. It is getting too expensive. I could go with cheaper smokes, but I tend to smoke more of them.

Yep. It's my biggest downfall..........and it sucks!

I can't tell you how many times I have quit, just last week in fact. I gave it up because my wife was having surgery, lasted about 1 1/2 days. I figure that smoking is my worse enemy, and quitting is my nightmare!

I'll get it right one of these days, even if it kills me! :(

I heard that Marlboro was including a hint of chocolate in their smokes, 2nd to heroin as a addiction!

If I wanted to put something that smelled like that in my mouth I'd walk around with one of our dog's crusty turds between my lips.

It would probably be alot less detrimental to my health.

Actually, If the turd is dried to a white crisp it is considered very healthy by vegetarians.

I quit around 8 years ago. I'm glad I did. The money , ect ect..

Yep it was one of the hardest things I've ever done......

When you see Doctor's dying from smoking.......

When I see someone who wins a huge settlement from the tobacco companys.....I feel smug........sob's knew exactly what they were doing and still try the same tactics overseas.....

I wish I didn't even start. I can't honestly say that I enjoy it. I like it at times, yes, but enjoy no. I just figured out how much I am spending on smokes. $6.50 a day, $45.50 a week, $182 a month, $2184 a year!!!!!!! That money could be saved to get me a car. I wish I could quit, just don't have the will power yet.

I hear ya Mike, it's a battle for sure.

I have tried the 12 step program, but the 12 beers just cause me to smoke more!

Hi BMED
Who is Peter Jackson? A heavy smoker I assume, but don't recall the name

A Canadian Brand i guess BMED.

When i started it was Phillip Morris (My Dad's Smoke of choice) 9 Yrs. old

Players Regular (no filters back then)

Export & a few brands along the way, but they where my main Brands in that order.

Then i discovered Peter Jackson's back in the early 60's and stuck with them till i quit. Did the pipe and Cigars as well. loved my Smokes.

Steel Fingernail File with serrations in the Shower to rub off the Nicotine Stains every day, to look presentable.

To this day i still get the urge once in awhile, but have never given in. Could not go through trying to quit ever again

regards

Unfortunately, a smoker.

Have tried to quit, just don't have the will power to do so. It's a very nasty habit.
