TCP options string = 020405b40103030201010402

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which is equal to MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 256960
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 2 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 64240
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 10278.4 kbps (1284.8 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 4111.36 kbps (513.92 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 45 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

Set RWIN to 513920, 522680 or 524176, do you have Cablenut adjuster :)

I got another damn problem, okay, my cable modem has 4 green lights and 1 orange one for actvity, seems, like every night or some times in the day, it just suddenly goes blank, the green lights go off, and it restarts over, and it takes a while before it works again. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON, is it the damn charter company? or is it just me?

If strange things are happening with the modem lights, I'd advise getting a hold of your ISP and get some action taken of some sort. Sounds to me like you have a cable connection problem. (line noise,weak signal, etc) Have them come out and test your line! :)
You may even have a bad modem.
Also, yes, the more people added to your node will decrease your bandwidth, resulting in slower speeds. How bad is your speed anyway? :)

Hey Lobo, how's Xp workin for ya? I reinstalled it again, into a different partition though. It's working much better than last time. Boot is still an issue though. Have you gotten around any problems? If so, how? I'm still trying to get my MTU above 1400 :confused: This thing is complicated bro. I used cablenut's adjuster, and I'm going a bit faster. But MTU still wont change :( Right now I'm on Windows 98SE.. had to let Xp rest a little while ;)

Cablenuts adjuster but the old tweaks are not working, I'm in process of reformatting cause I tried old tweaks, don't do anything to it, unless you know for sure, I have another program from www.ontract.com called Fix-it Utilities that lets me auto logon so no bootup problems and no password :)
