It sure has been a hot minute. Again. I keep telling myself that I'll come here and hang out again and then Something(tm) happens that takes away from that, over and over. The cycle of life, new jobs, new relationships, and (as of about half a year ago) a new house. Let alone the new puppy, and everything else that just eats away at time; I'm sure most of y'all can understand that.

That said, I was talking over on Bluesky today about forums and (once again) brought up SG. Got me thinking about here and I decided to try to guess my associated email to do the password recovery again; this time I got it right clearly! But it's good to be here and to be scrolling through the threads and seeing once-familiar names, seeing folks still kicking around and active and doing well. I'm glad to see it for all y'all because goodness knows there's not a more deserving group for happiness and success.

I'll do my best to hang around more but no matter what, I'm truly glad to see people here thriving and doing well in life. Hopefully for many years yet for all y'all!

A new house, "relashionships" and a puppy, whoa, big life events.

There's been a few of them for sure. A lot I could get into and likely will given enough time, but for the moment just happy to be back seeing how all y'all are doing.

Given all the joys of life you're deep into are you still going to have the cash for that goat you wanted? And yes... I'm still running XP.

Oh you know, I've got that goat alright! He and his gal are out in the yard; I can hear 'em at night calling - strangely it sounds like "maaaaad dooooc" over and over.
