Goddamn airlines

Post by Humboldt »

WTF is so difficult about an accurate flight status website?

My girlfriend had her flight from Seattle to Portland delayed 3 times then canceled last night due to weather.
OK.

Made it to Portland today and had a 5:20 flight this evening to come home.

Delayed due to weather. Fine.
But the PenAir website still shows green "on time" status for departure and arrival even now at 9:00 PM.

They never f*cking left Portland! What the hell good is a "real-time" website that doesn't get updated?

F*cking f*cks.
F*ck!

I've used flightview and it has been mostly reliable for me.. I imagine if the airline doesn't update the status of their own flights any other website/app won't be much use either.

No one to call.
Their office hours are east coast till 5, I'm west coast.

My airport is tiny and gave one flight status option for United (this wasn't), or hit * to return to the main menu.

She made it, about 90 minutes late. All good, still just wondering WTF.
